RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery
Dr Loges graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 1988 and has been in small animal practice in the UK since 1996. He founded Benfleet Veterinary Surgery in 2005 and has obtained further training and qualifications in the UK and overseas.
He holds an RCVS Advanced Veterinary Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and a General Practitioner Certificate in Endoscopy and Endosurgery from the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies.
Loges has been an RCVS listed advanced veterinary practitioner in small animal surgery since July 2019. His interests include all aspects of medicine and surgery in small animals with special interests in laparoscopic (keyhole), soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical procedures.
Donna Pearson
Donna has been with us ever since the surgery opened in 2005. Donna has over 15 years experience in nursing and reception roles. Donna is a passionate animal lover and supports various animal charities that involve animal welfare.
Laura Adams
Laura has been in the veterinary profession for 20 years. Laura qualified in 2009 and previously worked in a small animal private practice, as a senior nurse. She enjoys working in theatre especially assisting in keyhole surgical procedures.
Rachel Wraight
Rachel qualified in 2003 and has been in the veterinary profession for over 20 years. Rachel undertakes a theatre role with all aspects of theatre practice; her special interests are assisting with laparoscopy and orthopaedic procedures.
Michelle Openshaw
Michelle is a qualified Veterinary Nurse with over 28 years of experience and currently works part time at the Surgery.
