BOAS Surgery

What is BOAS Surgery?

Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) affects certain breeds of dogs such as French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs and Pugs. It usually results in noisy and difficult breathing as well as poor exercise tolerance. In sever cases, it can be fatal if untreated.

Our state of the art diagnostic and surgical facilities (rigid endoscopy, x-ray, electro-surgical instrumentation) allows us to deliver accurate diagnosis and surgical treatment for your pet.

There are a number of surgical procedures available to try and help individuals suffering from BOAS. If you are at all concerned and would like to speak to a specialist for a more detailed assessment, speak to our experts today and we’ll be happy to help.
