Pet Dental Care at Benfleet Veterinary Surgery

Dental disease is common in pets and can result in unnecessary malnourishment, discomfort and pain.  But it can be prevented with regular dental checks. During a dental check we will focus on the mouth and teeth, looking out for plaque and tartar as well any other issues that could lead to dental disease.

We routinely offer dental treatments such as tooth extractions, descaling and polishing of teeth of dogs and cats.  We are one of the handful of surgeries in the region to have a dedicated dental x-ray machine on site, which allows us to identify and diagnose diseased teeth accurately before extraction.

We also treat dental diseases in rabbits, guinea pigs and small rodents.
